Day 1 Periodic Table

What do the numbers of the periodic table represent?
-The numbers represent the elements atomic number, and the elements weight.  Atomic weight keeps track of number of protons. 

What are the upper left numbers?
- the Upper left represents the atomic number.

What are the upper right numbers?
- The upper right represents the atomic weight (mass).

What is Mg?
Mg is the abbreviation for magnesium.

What are the differences between Na and K?
Na stands for Sodium, and K stands foe Potassium.  These two have different atomic numbers and weights.  Sodium is number 11 with the weight of 22.990 and potassium in the number 19 with the weight of 39.0983.these two also differ in thier periods on the periodic table, sodium in in 3 and potassiom in in 4.
