tubes of color

colors i saw....
white, pink, orange

When we place our glasses on, we see a different light patterns around the one orange center bar (neon).  There are horizontal lines on the left and right, and vertical lines on the top and bottom all the surrounding patterns are all the colors of the rainbow.

The next color we looked at was white (helium), this had the same pattern, but the lines on the sides are much more spread out, and many more colors.  The orange in the line spectra was brightest.  There aren't that many lines in the spectra. 

Pink was the next tube (argon) I do not see a thing from far away, but went i got close i could see very colorful lines on the top bottom and side, with a darker blue color closer to the tube. 

Nitrogen was the next tube, the colored lines on the side were a lot longer, and their were a lot more of them. 

Carbon dioxide has the same lines as the ones before, to me it looked almost the exact same as the nitrogen.  this line you could see the lines very well.
