What an electron is.

An electron is a negatively charged part of the atom.  Physicist believe that they cause the atom to move in a wave like pattern, but for some reason, if an observer is watching them move. they travel in a straight way.  Electrons are tiny tiny little things that are not visible at all to the naked eye.  No one has been able to figure out why they move the way that they do, they must just have a mind of their own.
